Check In. Nobody works alone.

Buy a Contract Medic rebuild and your crew gets this with it: a lone-worker check-in. Press one button on time. Miss it, and the phone gets loud, then the app calls you, then it calls your people.

  1. 0:00 you miss a check-in
  2. +0:01 your phone gets loud
  3. +5:00 the app phones you — press 1 if you're fine
  4. +8:00 it phones your people with where you were

How it works

Start a shift on your phone: your name, the site, how often you want to check in (15 minutes to two hours), and who to call. A countdown runs. Press the green button before it hits zero and it resets. That's the whole job.

Miss one and the app takes it from there — an alarm and a text, then a real phone call asking you to press 1, and only if that fails does it phone your supervisor, with the site, your last check-in and a map link. It keeps going until a person says they've reached you.

Contract Medic

Your employment agreement, read against the Employment Standards Act, Human Rights Code, Workers Compensation Act, PIPA and BC case law — every clause, every finding with its section. The worst clause is shown free. The full findings and a rebuilt agreement are $399 for one business. Check In comes with it.

thanx.A.I is not a law firm and nothing here is legal advice. Contract Medic is a document editing service. We read wording against the British Columbia Employment Standards Act and reported decisions, and we suggest replacement wording. We do not advise you, we do not represent you, and no solicitor-client relationship is created by using this site.

There is no privilege. Communications with your lawyer are protected by solicitor-client privilege. Communications with us are not, and may be discoverable in litigation or on a due-diligence request. A lawyer licensed in British Columbia must review and approve anything we produce before you issue it to any employee.

Scope. Contract review covers British Columbia, provincially regulated, non-union employers only. We do not review federally regulated employers, other provinces, or collective agreements. The law changes; a decision released after today may change how a clause is treated.
